Questions & Comments
don't forget i also have an 8 in on here too..just go click under my profile to see the 8 in one too! that one will start at 85 credits folks
Ha, I'm playing with the numbers. I've finally got Listia's new credit-bump thing figured out. Always easy to play with your auctions, Lynn, because someone's always gonna bid high!
Someone Flagged it for some reason. I sent it to my sister express next day mail to have it certified but Tiffany & Co will NOT certify any of their Jewelry. So she took it to her jeweler who stated that the weight and all would definately make it Tiffany. I spoke to my Jeweler down here who offered me a pretty penny for it so agreed to sell it to her! I can't stand that members are ok to flag auctions even after Listia ok's them and features them and then doesn't even have the descency to contact the seller prior to removing them! Such as life. I didn't realize that they were worth so much over $200 a piece and my jeweler offered me $450 so agreed to take it. My sister sent me a second set too but i'm sending that to a friend.
sure looked authentic to me, even had the boxes etc. would have been an awesome auction, but sounds like you made out well! Lucky friend to get a set! Love your auctions!
thank you. I have no idea as to why it was removed and that is what made my wife and i so darn upset. I did contact Listia.com and suggested that in the future b4 removing the items maybe they need to get a hold of the seller to find out what is going on and why it is "CONSIDERED" to be removed, PRIOR to removing them. Yea we needed the money but didn't know what it was worth. Pretty pathetic that people are flagging items for whatever reason and that listia doesn't contact them to see what's going on and that they just remove them.
I couldn't agree more! :) why my wife n i suggested it! No reason as to why it was removed just a link as to "possibilities" as to why. It was the only listing of it's kind so it wasn't that, didn't ask for exhorbanant shipping ..small flat rate priority box, so shipping had nothing to do with it. Everyone that knows me knows I am the REAL DEAL so why someone would say it's fake w/out at least consulting me is beyond me. The only other thing I can think of is someone is trying to earn their badge for 25 flagged auctions! I think that should be removed from a badge. Unless it can be substantiated! For example I got scammed by one person for 2 Itunes cards and so did someone else. So YES I flagged both of their new auctions for the same thing. ListiaKevin even contacted me to say that they suspended his account and a few others under his ip address so in this case it was justified. But if you aren' 110% sure if it's a fake then contact the seller or let Listia know of your concerns but don't flag to have it removed and have the seller have to go thru a bunch of nonsense. It cost my sister $55 to have a certificate of authenticity done for my friend who owns a jewelry store done b4 she sent it to me. as soon as I get it back in a day or two i'm selling it to the jeweler. Afterall why should I be out $55 ?! Plus since my jeweler is a friend agreed to reimburse me for the certificate of authenticity. So here my listia friends got to miss out on an AUTHENTIC set of Tiffany & Co. 925 Jewelery ~ So sad indeed. I did suggest that sellers get to defend themselves b4 an auction is removed! If everyone would put that in as a suggestion maybe Listia would do something about it.
The thought also crossed my mind that someone is trying to build up flagged auctions to get a badge.....so there could bea buse there and really listia should investigate, especially if the flagged auction is one froman established seller such as yourself. Yes, very sad, because its really nice when there are awesome things on listia to bid on! It would be interesting to see the listia policy on removing auctions, that way we can all play by the rules......
