found it metal detecting it doesnt work but nice find and i think the other end is a pen but dont want to force it open and break it. works just like a zippo and it was gold plated at one time

I think that's a Parker Pen Lighter from the 40's..you may want to hold on to it..they are very collectable and worth $..:)
