The back of the parrot pin is all bright gold, has a 1-1/4 long stick pin which closes into a round gold clasp. It is concave, like a reverse mold of the front side of the parrot. Hope this description helps.

Sorry I forgot to ask if there are any stones missing.. the neck line looks like there are a couple of stones missing or maybe it is just the lighting?
