The listing, :Cat (CueCat) Barcode Scanner (PS/2 Interface) has ended.
Just recently inherited this curious little piece of technology from a buddy. Looked it up, and turns out this is an old barcode scanner from around 1999 called the :Cat (or CueCat).
This model needs a PS/2 keyboard to work as this is made to be connected between your PC and keyboard. A USB-to-PS/2 converter may work - not sure.
For me - it's useless. For others, it can be used to scan and catalog items (searching the internet, some people use this to catalog their movies, books, etc). Could also be of interest to collectors of electronic relics. You will need to find software to make this work, and a quick Google search will give you both links to :Cat software, how to use it, as well as ways to modify the :Cat.
One lucky winner will be the proud owner of this technological relic, which also seemed to be the source of a little controversy (Wiki or Google it, interesting read.)
Yes, this will be a 2 week auction - no lowering the days, sorry. I'm curious to see how much interest this little curiosity generates. Unless of course, you use the GIN which is staying fixed at what it is.
So...

2. No int'l shipping - can't afford it.
