China Aster (Callistephus Chinensis Powder Puff) Annual

Attract attention to your garden by starting some Aster seeds!! This wonderful China Aster flower seed produces double flowers atop 2ft high stems. It is one of the most popular cut flowers available from flower seed. These large flowers resemble chrysanthemum flowers and come in a mix of colors with creamy yellow centers. Asters establish nicely from seed. They are excellent for tall borders or beds. If you want a profusion of brilliant blooms for a long lasting flower bouquet, these are an excellent choice.
These easy to grow, upright plants will continue to bloom throughout the summer. Aster plants prefer a sunny location, however, they will tolerate light shade.
Sow seeds outdoors in rich, well drained soil after all danger of frost has passed. Keep soil moist until germination. Allow 8-12 days to germination.
