Question... how do you know if it's authentic?

I'm not saying that it isn't... that's something that has kept me from getting into Confederate currency... knowing that there are so many fakes floating around....

its authentic. i dont sell fake stuff. also i took it to a friend that deals with old paper money and he told me that this is authentic. he told me to hold on2 it and later on in the future it will be worth more money. you can also check out my other auction on ebay>

I wasn't suggesting that this isn't real or authentic. I was asking how one knows if a bill is authentic or a fake... I know a lot about 1880's and newer bills but nothing about civil war era bills...
