The listing, Christmas Cactus CUTTING (ZYGOCACTUS) has ended.
I will ship you a good size cutting from my Christmas cactus. It flowers RED.
Here is a great how-to link for growing a Christmas Cactus from a cutting by Garden Hacker: http://gardenhacker.blogspot.com/2007/10/rooting-christmas-cactus-cuttings.html
This is a current photograph of the mother plant.
Please ignore the fake daisy flowers that I put in the plant, I do that to dress it up in the summer months when the blooms are dormant.
I will take the cutting as soon as there is a winner. It will be ready to put into soil or water immediately when you receive the cutting.
Personally, I take my cuttings and then I put the bottom half in a glass of water and I add just a few of those slow / time-release plant fertilizer granules in the water with it, place it on a windowsill and I get roots FAST!
This cactus blooms RED every winter!
