There is a sim slot. its located under the cover to the left of the battery. US Cellular is the carrier I had with this phone. The model number is qa-30 Motorola Hint

i dont quite understand the "clear to turn on" thing. all you have to do is take it to your mobile provider and have them reprogram it. i have cleared all my setting/pictures/contacts out. so, the phone is back at the "NEW" stage of its life.

This phone takes awesome pics! i havent noticed any scratches on the lens. I havent had any problems with the phone. I was wanting an iphone, so thats why i have this one up for bids.

I own this phone & love it. I am totally bummed that US Cellular stopped carrying it but considering all the problems they had I understand. It took me 4 phone trades before I finally ended up with one that worked consistently. Have you had any issues with the phone powering off suddenly or the mic not working or the alarm clock not going off or anything else for that matter? How is the lens for the camera? Scratch free?
