On auction, I have two bags of crewel wool yarn - very nice! I can't tell you the yardage, etc. I got it from a thrift shop. This will be great for crewel embroidery!

I suppose you could, but I'm not the pro here. Anyone else can chime in! I've only taken an interest in crochet since last year so from what I could tell, this is usually used for needlework called crewel, but you could probably knit with it if yoy have enough for whatever your project is.

Again, this os a light turquoise type color- very light which is why I could not seem to ccorrectly capture it.
