Questions & Comments
hi. i am sorry u had a bad experience with listia. unfortunately a few bad people try to ruin it for all of us.
one way u can get around the "didn't gets" is to purchase delivery confirmation. i know that if u buy ur mailing label on line with the p.o. and use flat rate box it's free. otherwise it's somewhere around 60 cents or so. it's well worth the expense if u'd problems.
This is twice now I have listed on your site and had the winner request a refund as they say they did not receive the product. the first time the bidder did not give the product time to get to their house from the post office. he recanted after he received his product the next day. At least I think he did not get his biding points back. I just heard from another winner of this last weeks auction that after the bidding closed there was no way the product can get to them from Wednesday when the auction closed and Thursday when I mailed the necklace out. But on Monday they are requesting their bidding points back. I have talked to other friends who joined with me on this site and they seem to be having the same problem. Mean while we do not get our product back from the bidder. the bidder gets to keep the product and they bidding points. Eve after they have said OH SORRY I RECEIVED THEM TODAY. I will not be offering any more products on Listia for a while and will be posting to my many friends on facebook warning them about this scam on your site. This is not fair to the people who are offering their items free of charge and paying postage to send the products out to the winners. but Lista does not seem to see or notice a growing trend in this problem area. i am having a problem with a bidder's address. it looked odd so i asked the man at the post office if it looked right to him. he looked it up in his computer and said it was not valid. emailed her again but she has not responded to me. not sure what to do now. and it was the address she sent through listia.
