This prickly blue flower is great for fresh cut flower or use in dry flower arrangement. The flower is green when young and turn bluish gray when mature. This is a perennial here in my area. The plant will partially die back in winter and emerge again in spring. Each plant is about 3-4 feet tall when mature with bushy foliage on the bottom and long flower spike on top. Lots of blooms per stem. This will add an interesting blue color to your garden.
