Columbine is a hardy native American plant. It grows wild in the higher elevations of the Rocky Mountains, but is equally at home in any temperate climates throughout the United States.

Planting
Select a location with filtered shade to full sun. Plant outdoors about two weeks before last frost or late fall in mild areas. Start indoors six to eight weeks before last frost for transplants. If stared indoors must Refrigerate
3 - 6 weeks. Keep young plants evenly moist and well weeded. Hardy to zone 3.
