from what i can see in pic, if the lion looks like it has a fin across its back, its from iran. Its actually the sun and the emblem is called shir-o-khorshid, or lion and sun. this coin is from 1931-1951, date is under the wreath on side without lion and will translate to between 1310 -1330 SH (Solar Hejira date), add 621 to get AD date. if you can describe what last to symbols in date look like, i can date it for you. i know the first two will look like a 1 and backwards 7 with a little "bump" in top of backwards 7, just need last two symbols for exact date.
