Questions & Comments
I would not paint it at all! I would leave it as is and use it for meditation for when I need new ideas.
I would send this around the world and have where ever it ends egg sign then place of origin they live in then i would have that person relist. Around the World for everyone to see
My parents had EMUS, which are similar but the eggs are a dark turqoise, green color. I have a thousand things to do with these. Reverse painting on the inside, dremel some areas down for lighting coming through the shell, alcohol inks, as well as holiday scenes. Lastly, they make gorgeous night lights when you "carve" them. GREAT AUCTION! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it came from a farm they said it did not get and embrio if that is how you spell it lol it was not going to have a baby:( but they drill and clean them b4 they sell it
they breed them and he said it didnt take so the drill and clean them they can be too fragile the bird dose not sit to lay them the have to stand and they are like 1/4 of an inch thick:)i will box it lol:)
how cool is that - I have seen some pretty neat designs carved into them- amazing what can be done. I think I would find somebody to carve a neat scene in it for me to display. F&W
really did not have an idea i just wanted to have part of the fun of bidding on such a cool item but then the idea came to me of making it into a a fairy ball. then making my beaded sun catchers down to it.
My wife makes night lights, and she absolutely loves carving. I can't wait to see what kind of design she comes up with. i bought her a new pro dremmel for her birthday and can't wait for her to use it! I can see a beautiful lamp to display in my crafted by her sitting in my den!!!
