It's a cactus-like plant that needs something to climb on--mine has "arms" that are 3+ feet and counting. It can grow up whatever you want to put it on, or works great as a hanging plant

A long time, but they grow fast--about a foot a month in the spring.

No, it's seasonal like most fruit. Depends on your climate. Here in the desert we get fruit early, summer's way too hot!

i've seen alot of people try to take it across the boarder illeagally...how did you get it? and what does it taste like if so many people are willing to go so far..it must be outstanding!

Nothing illegal about it around here--it's readily available. Nurseries, Home Depot---even the grocery store has plants for sale sometimes. IDK what could possibly be illegal---unless you are talking agricultural restrictions.
