Thanks! And no, unfortunately I haven't figured out how to make my own purses yet, athough I do quilt!!! I purchased it from a craft fair several years ago. :)

I have washed it on a gentle cycle before and let it hang dry. It has small silver nubs on the bottom for when you set it down so you just have to be careful with that :)
