The tin is nearly full of buttons weighs about 3 lb. more than the cookies that was in it. I stirred it around so you can see them all. Some may be collectible most are just usable for lost buttons of shirts and other clothing. good luck!

the spools of thread had needles stuck in them. So I removed them for safety reasons.

it was in the container, only thing I took out was the needles. I figured she did that so she didn't have to look for thread and a needle when she had to sew on buttons. So I left the container the way she had it. Something I would have never thought of.
