not really, I make them to fit my own wrist ( wrist bones are to big for a standard 7 in bracelet)so i know they will fit nicely. So it has alot of give but not so much that its so loose it will fall back to your elbow...if you check out the pink bracelets I also have up you will see a picture of how it fit on my wrist.
