The listing, "Silver Trime" 1852 Three Cent Silver US Coin has ended.
This auction is for a coin rarely seen these days and is "Nicknamed" a SILVER TRIME.
This one is dated at 1852 and is easily placed into a "FINE" to "VERY FINE" grading. This is only the second year of mintage and another one that really needs to be looked up to find it's worth.
This is a small coin weighing in at .80 grams with .750 Silver. I think that you will find that it is the coin itself that is well worth it more than the Silver content.
Some are going to think that the GIN is set too high, but a $60 coin puts the GIN at 1/2 of where it should be.
