Sometimes I spend a little too much time at Barnes and Noble. There was a third book measuring your emotional personality??? something like that. It was auctioned off on another site.
I looked at these books as more of a entertainment aspect, as one would view a horoscope. It give some insight to your personality traits and as for the IQ tests, I found the book too simple yet some of it seemed more of an opinion than a right or wrong answer, as psychology might be. Interesting and fun either way.
going over to your profile to fan you...and check out your auctions. I hope you enjoy this Sunday. It's hot, but beautiful!

Astrology, huh? I think you hit that one on the proverbial head. My son's pregnant SO... astrology is her touchstone for understand, her religion, as it were. I think that as humans, we feel a need to categorize people places and things to understand them. And so, we have religious dogma to define God, as well as to differentiate between "believers and non-believers in order to judge the safety and value of people. Psychology has its DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel) to categorize people by disorder. My stance is that if we value each and every living thing as unique (remembering the snowflake analogy) it opens our eyes to unique experience and relationships..... as assumption, stereotype and prejudice slip away. That's my final answer and I don't even need to phone a friend.
