this is a 2nd gen ipod shuffle. it does not work at all. i have tried but it will not power. i got this from a freind a while ago. so happy bidding.

Are you sure you used the right cable to try to power it up? 3rd and 4th gen cables will not work with this 2nd gen ipod. You would need to get a 2nd gen cable to power it up.
