Chives have a very mild onion flavor. You snip the green strappy leaves to add to salad, top potatoes, add to dip or even put on meat and fish....very very versatile.
This plant is a perennial and will self sow. If you do not want it to spread, simply cut off the purple flower seed heads before they dry.
You will receive a baggy of seeds harvested from my garden, at least 50 seeds. JUST RECIEVED A NOTE FROM ANOTHER LISTIAN WHO WON A BAG OF THESE. SHE STARTED THEM INDOORS AND HAS ALREADY TRANSPLANTED THEM INTO THE GARDEN . :)
