Description

The listing, 2001S KENNEDY HALF DOLLAR has ended.

Ok, I want to make it very clear, I AM NOT A COIN EXPERT.
I tried to research this a bit online and this is what I found:
Type: Kennedy Half Dollar
Year: 2001
Mint Mark: S
Face Value: 0.50 USD
Total Produced: 889,000 [?]
Silver Content: 90%
Silver Weight: 0.3617 oz.
Silver Melt: $9.85
Value: As a rough estimate of this coins value you can assume this coin in poor condition will be valued at somewhere around $18, while one in "great" shape can bring $25. This price does not reference any standard coin grading scale. So when we say poor, we mean worn more than would be expected from a coin in this age, and great meaning it looks "great" relative to other coins of the same age.

could you look at the side of the coin and make sure on the rim its silver all the way through? just because it was s mint doesnt make it silver. if its clad it will have a small copper circle around the outside rim where its grooved. thank you. f&w

Thank you for your input, but I can no longer add a gin because a bid has been placed and I kinda feel it is worth more than 9000 credits.

Oh, I did not know it was a proof coin, like I mentioned, these where all in plastic baggies inside a Jack Daniels bag, lol, a friend gave them to me and since I am not a coin collector or expert I shared them on here, had them for over a year and found them while cleaning house, lol, I had forgotten about them.

Bigronmoney sure knows how to handle a coin the right way.Good info in that area.Yes.This is a proof coin.I know the time past to add a Gin on this coin.A future coin like this one is what I was talking more about.Yes, more than 9000 from a sellers view.A fair Gin from a buyers view.Just my thought.
