It is wooden, does not have a denomination on it, just name of parade marshal one side with date and time of Irish Channel parade, a flur de luis and a logo in a clover leaf on the obverse. These were throws for the New Orleans St. Patrick's day parade. Maybe you may know, are all wooden tokens called "wooden nickels"?
sometimes they have an Indian head or logo on front side with event or mess on back... I have many wooden nickels and this looks like one. is it slightly larger than a quarter.
