The listing, EVA NVIDIA GeForce 8600 graphics card has ended.

I originally purchased this for a dedicated photo and video editing PC I built about a year ago. It worked great in that arrangement. Well, I just bought a newer video card for that PC, and swapped this card into my daily use workhorse PC that had been using the on-board video. It was a great move. The video from my workhorse is awesome now! No hiccups, glitches, or pixel blocks. Graphics on my wide screen HP monitor look crystal clear. The best part? NO FAN NOISE! The heat sink is huge, but silent!

I actually have another card, but I use it for HDMI on my Vizio/monitor. I run three monitors with it. I will cover shipping costs because it only weighs 1.2 lbs. I can also throw in a VGA/DVI connector and a DVI/HDMI connector if I am feeling

agp is inferior in quality. In fact AGP is better as far as memory capcity. the AGP cards can access the system memory to help with complex operations and PCI graphics cards can only access the memory on the actual card. On the other hand PCI cards share bandwidth with other devices where AGP cards don't. The PCI is also more capable of multi-tasking, so to speak. Anyway I got a little carried away there. It is a good card and it is clean. I am OCD about maintaining my machines.
