Questions & Comments
Being Canadian but a permanent resident of USA, thought this might be nice for my American husband who I have taken through Eastern Canada but not out west. Actually his Mom was born in Manitoba, one of the Prairie Provinces. 87 and still going strong here in Vt.
I just looked through the book again, and there are some beautiful photos of western Canada: the Trans Canada Highway hugging the mountains in Vancouver, and several pics of the Canadian Rockies. The book is divided into 6 sections: the Eastern Shores, French Canada, By the Shining Waters (Ontario), Across the Grasslands, Over the High Country, and the Pacific Realm. There are a few pics from Manitoba: one shows a sunflower farm near Carberry, Manitoba; and another pic shows an abandoned homestead in a field of rapeseed.
