To be perfectly honest with you, I have no idea. I bought the set close to 2 yrs ago at either Beall's or JCPenneys, in the costume jewelry dept. Back then, if I am not mistaken, I paid close to $40 or $50 for the set. That didn't include a chain, just earrings and the pendant. I hope the information I was able to provide can help you in finding out what the material is. If you do happen to find out, will you pleasse let me know? i can only wear gold, white gold, sterling silver, sucks sometimes...i like alot of jewlery and even have to put clear coat nail polish on my jean buttons and belts lol...fw
