Can you tell me what the approximate measurements are on this piece? Also, is the top finished and just needs batting and a back, or does it need the top to be finished too? And not to be a pain, but do you have the remaining material to finish the top if need be? Thanks!!!

I am not great a large measurments, I measured 40x44 with my yardstick. There are 2 extra pieces that I had planned to addd on but didn't Like the listing says it is unfinished, just the top, no batting or back and you might want to add your own squares to it and make it bigger. There is no other remaining fabric of this kind except for what I have listed.
