Here is the information on the Digital Copy Disc that is included:

TWO EASY OPTIONS TO GET YOUR DIGITAL COPY:
Option 1 - PC/MAC:
1. Insert Digital copy disc into your mac or pc's drive.
2. Click on transfer digital copy.
3. Click either iTunes or Windows Media format.
4. Follow the simple, on screen instructions then enter the unique activation code from this insert to redeem your DIGITAL COPY.
Once you have redeemed your digital copy, you can watch the movie on your computer and/or transfer it to an iTunes- or Windows Media-compatible device.

OPTION 2: - Pocket Blu (for portable devices):
1. Insert the blu-ray disc into your network-connected blue-ray player.
2. Start the pocket Blu application on your portable device (see your app store or pocketblu.com for download and usage details).
3. Click the digital Copy button under the LIVE EXTRAS option in the blu-ray disc menu.
4. Follow the simple, on-screen instructions. To redeem your DIGITAL COPY:
A: Point your camera-enabled portable device (with pocket Blu's "activation code" screen displayed" at the two-dimensional bar code at left.
OR
B: Manually enter the activation code from this insert into pocket Blu's "activation code" screen".
Once you have redeemed your DIGITAL COPY, you can watch the movie on your portable device using pocket Blu.

That is what it says on the insert for the DIGITAL VOPY disc. So no, it is not a dvd but it is still pretty cool and useful :) These instructions and descriptions are for the digital copy disc ONLY. In the case, still comes a REGULAR BLU RAY disc for your Blu ray player. I hope that helps & clarifies things much better :)
