NEW! Sunglasses for reading on the beach or by the pool. Distortion-free optics. Anti-reflective coating. Premium expandable spring hinges add comfort and durability. Comes with a soft vinyl case.

* NOTE: These have TORTOISE SHELL frames.
* NOTE: These have 2.00 lenses, NOT 1.50 as pictured
* NOTE: There is a small scratch on one of the lenses that does not affect viewing/reading ability. I've lowered the opening bid to reflect the minor defect. This is how they were shipped.
* NOTE: The black-framed glasses are not in this listing.
* NOTE: These are what I would term "petite" sunglasses. In other words, they are a classic size and shape. If you're looking for Jackie O glasses, these will not fill the bill.

Yes they are not too common any more..most countries don't allow the killing of them anymore..but they made compacts cases, hair combs etc.. still watching.. :)

That's horrid. I'm glad there are laws. At first I thought that maybe they harvested the shells from dead tortoise. I love tortoises. Aren't there some species that are endangered?

No. If you wear prescription glasses, these take their place when reading in bright sunlight without strain on the eyes or glare off the page. Hope that helps.
