if they dated from before 1993 they are only worth $0.39
if they are from 1993 or after they are worth $393
(1000 pesos from before 1993 equals 1 'modern' peso)

the bill was made before 1993 (you can tell by the design and i'm pretty sure they stopped making $5000 pesos)
so they are only worth $0.39, NOT $393 for those who thought they were bidding on something that was worth a few hundred dollars
