This is a Magellan Maestro 4000 GPS..Works VERY good... Has everything u need ...Even has Built in AAA Tourbook Travel information and Member Assistance details ,Perfect for AAA Members,Most GPS's dont offer this.......Screen is 4.3 widescreen...Battery is Great...Touchscreen is easy...It has Voice that gives you Directions...A few scratches but the screen is perfect with no scratches, it is a used GPS..No updating needed, its already been updated...Comes with a car charger, a 2GB USA maps SD Card and a usb.. I do have a windshield mount holder but it needs a screw,very easy fix...I won this on Listia but its to Bulky for my small car so i decided to go with a smaller gps....Listia address only...Happy Bidding.....

i would think this GPS would work where u live...but i cant tell u 100%.. u might want to do some looking on the internet to make sure...sorry i cant answer that question...

i wish i knew how to get the info for u :( I know the GPS is suppose to work all over the US, it has US and Canada maps, so they say....But ive never used it where u live and dont want to mislead u..I hope u find the info on that :)

What the year on this? do you have the install disk? thats how you update maps via online??

I have looked everywhere on this GPS inside and out and i can not find the year it was made..It has AAA Member info and that is a new option for GPS's maybe a year or 2...As far as the disc, no i dont have that and yes u can update GPS's over the internet with just a USB cord, i've done it on 3 GPS's so i know it can be done...

I did a search for this specific item, showed a review for it from Feb 2007. I like that it has the AAA Tourbooks, because those can be bulky.

I have been looking for a Megellan GPS but I have one question before I bid. Are the updates free? My old Tom Tom charges for updates & they cost as much as purchasing a new one. Megellan's are the best.

o yeah i hear ya on that one..Some GPS's u have to buy updated maps and cant get updates on the internet..This one is already updated with maps so it doesnt need to be bothered with for a year or whenever its time?..I know u can get free updates with this model over the internet..

I LOVE mine. But I wish these companies would make it heat proof up to 1000 degrees. Mine just warped and popped open. Gee.....it IS meant to stay in a car. But these are GREAT to have. Especially for new addresses.
