The listing, Sega Dreamcast Console with Controller, VMU, and GAMES! has ended.

This is a great console, unfortunately I don't use it anymore. There are many great games, which can be simply downloaded and burned to disc to play. In fact, I think that's the only way to get games for this because nobody sells them anymore!

I bet you didn't know that this console runs a modified version of Windows CE! In fact, it even has a built in modem that you can use to dial up to the internet!

I think there are also emulators that will play Gameboy games on this, but I'm too lazy to check it out. If you are interested in emulators, check out my listing for a homebrew-capable PSP.

Included with the console is:
A controller
A VMU (Visual Memory Unit)
Power cable
Video cable
RFU converter for people with old tv's
7 game discs: Resident Evil 3, RE: Code Veronica, Shenmue, Zombie Revenge

Dude I'm telling you it doesn't matter if they sell them in Walmart or not. It's beside the point (although you can easily buy them at used/vintage game stores). The point is the games are copyrighted and you can't be selling burned games like that. I challenge you to find one article from a reputable source that states you can legally reproduce games without owning the original copy, let alone sell them. I'm trying to help you out man. Don't encourage copyright infringement, and don't sell illegally copied games.

Yes, they will be PORTED to 360 and Wii. The point still stands: you can't buy Dreamcast games in stores and, if you don't chance upon games at a garage sale, you"re SOL.

Thanks for bringing up that article, though! I will look forward to playing Crazy Taxi on my 360.

It's illegal to download and burn any game you don't own an original copy of. Sega sells their games through other consoles such as Wii now, where you can buy lots of old games through the online marketplace. You have 4x4 Evolution burned and for sale which is still available for cross platform online play including dreamcast. You should get listia's attention to help you revise the auction because you are incouraging copyright infringement and selling an illegally burned game. BTW, you can still buy dreamcast games at places like vintage stock and other used/retro game distributors.

Yes, they make new games for Wii, but the old games on Dreamcast aren't available anywhere.

Sega no longer has a presence in the console market outside of Japan.

Check out www.dcisozone.com for a ton of great games. Apparently, it's legal to download them now because the system is obsolete and there's no other way to get games any more. Not to mention, IT'S FREEEEEE
