The listing, Pearl (faux) Necklace, Costume Jewelry, NC Estate Auction has ended.
This morning I attended the Estate Auction of Claiborne/ Edith Woods, Creedmoor NC. Edith Woods had lived to be 88 years old, heard this at the auction. The Estate Auction had so much to offer that two auctioneers were auctioning simultaneously, one for household items and the other for tools. I arrived at the homesite for the Estate Auction at 8:30 am, my bidding number was 123. The auction started at 9am. This provides you with an idea of how brisk the bidding would be when a crowd approaches 200.
My first winning bid was for a group of Vintage, Costume, PEARL NECKLACES
Today's Offering, is less than 8 hours old:
One Pearl Necklace, Costume jewelry, NOT real pearls, No Markings On Piece, Age Unknown and has been worn. The length measures 16.5 inches from clasp to ending pearl. If you measure without including the clasp, the length is 11 inches.
This piece was choosen because of its better condition to offer as a give away. The other necklaces will be given as family gifts or the beads re purposed for other jewelry.
Auctions are a Passion, and I attend a least 3 auctions a month. Read my Blog about Auctions traveled to at Word Press under "Native2NorthCarolina", http://wp.me/p8uMS-1J
As a result, I share Auction Finds with Listians - as long as the item fits inside an envelope. All offerings are well packaged and includes confirmation mailing
Enjoy and come back in the near future for another Auction Find from a Native2NC.
