I'm not sure what year this came out, but this is only about 9" tall, 6.5" wide, 10" long. It is in working order. I tested it before packing it. It is battery operated only. It comes with a working foot pedal. This is very old but still in wonderful condition. It also has a working light to see what you're doing. I don't remember for sure but I think it takes "D" size batteries.
I ship with tracking number. Free shipping. I ship only to Listia verified addresses. Please respond within the seven days or your item will be relisted and I will keep your credits. I ship within the seven day guideline.
Questions & Comments
This is awesome! The old ones are the best ones in sewing machines (if you ask me that is). :) Great price! Wish you had the GIN feature for double the price and I'd get it right now! :) Just a thought. But first, are you able to check to see what size the battery is so I can be sure I can still find that battery. Thanks, dear. :)
It could have been. Either that or used as a sewing machine for travel. It's definitely small enough. I haven't found hardly any of these listed online. Very scarce. I only came across one.
This definitely is a child's toy sewing machine and was sold/intended as such. These were intended to actually work, though, so if an adult wanted to use it to really sew, it would serve that purpose for lightweight sewing if desired and if the machine is working correctly. Cute machine!
Yes this is in working order. You stick the batteries in and then use the foot pedal to get it going. I tested it using a regular spool. Its a neat piece.
My grandmother gave this to me last year before she passed away. Therefore, I don't know a ton about. Origins, purpose and all that. I tried it to see if it still worked. And then placed it on a shelf and never touched it again. I have a full size sewing machine so I don't need this one. I just want someone who will enjoy it to have it.
