I got this scale from stamps.com (but you don't need a stamps.com account to use it!)

Takes one 9V battery. Weighs up to 5 lbs and is accurate to 1/10 of an ounce. One rubber foot pad is missing from the bottom, that's the only thing wrong. Get one for pennies at Home Depot!

Save Money:
Never underestimate the weight of your packages again. Plus, get a discounted rate from the USPS by printing your postage and shipping labels online.

Don't pay $.85 for Delivery Confirmation! When you print your own labels, Delivery Confirmation is FREE on Priority Mail, or $.19 for First-Class mail.

Save Time:
Don't stand in line in the post office. I just hand my prepaid packages to the postal clerk or drop them in the parcel drop slot. USPS, FedEx, and UPS all have free pickup if you have a prepaid label. Done!

Yep, we love it! We even weigh envelopes just in case they are over 1 oz and need an extra stamp :)

hi...i have something don't understand that after we weight and print the shipping lable... do we need to go to the PO and put it in the parcel slot or we can put it in the mailbox? :) thanks ... f&w

We leave our first-class and Priority Mail items in our mailbox or on our porch for the carrier to pick up. They will pick up when they deliver your mail, or you can schedule a pick-up and specify where (mailbox, front porch, front/back/side door, knock/ring bell, etc.)

Definitely, it works perfectly and accurately. I am SURE I have a rubber bumper somewhere (or I will get one from Home Depot) so I will attach it before shipping.

No, this scale only weighs stuff. But if you know the weight of your packages, then you can print labels with postage at usps.com. (You can even use Paypal at https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_ship-now )

Even if you don't want to print postage, you will know how many stamps to put on your items.
