Yeah I'm sure it wouldn't work well with your .38 especially with it being a snub nose, sorry.

I enlisted in the national guard as a scout but my whole unit had to reclass to 11b as soon as I got out of basic. This was 6 years ago though my enlistment ended in may this year.

It's all there, there isn't a buckle for the belt. The top part goes up and over the belt your wearing and sticks with velcro on the back side of the holster and the bottom part will go around your leg and snap together.
