The $15 shipping charge isn't unreasonable and I do understand your frustration about wanting to do this correctly when you are not too sure about it. You can work out the best way to ship with the winner after the auction is over.

This is a great auction.

I agree the med frb and $15 is the way to ship. The extra padding it will get that way is worth it. You can kind of plan on the PO will bang it around and I have mailed a lot of drives with double boxing. I have mailed perfectly good drives and had them arrive DOA more than once. Insurance is a waste of time and money, especially when you have a buyer that doesn't cooperate with the claim process.

Thanks for doing this auction Debi. I got outbid and am out of the running but am really pleased to see your auction take off like it did over the weekend. Hopefully the bidding will go a lot higher because this part is something a lot of people really could use. The $15 for shipping is totally reasonable. I made that comment previously I know but the ladder-fashion made it disappear to the top.

It was horrible, you got to stay awake for 2 hrs sleep for 15 min. and so on. Just when you got into going to sleep they were in to wake you up, they put these things all over my head, in my HAIR!! on my chin, under the eyes beside the eyes forehead, well you get the picture, a zombie at best!!. Glad to be home, it takes dawn dishwashing liquid to get that goo out of your hair!! I've washed my 2 times and its still not the way it should be!@! uk!!!!!!!. Won't know the results for 2 weeks. Anyways, if they find out why all the horrible headaches then will be worth it. They think sleep apnea might have a play in it. Oh well, on to the auction, bid bid bid.....

I'm assuming all these comments about negativity were geared toward me. I was not trying to sound negative nor was I complaining, I just thought it would be good to explain why the shipping cost what it did. It is always good to explain what the money is going toward so people aren't thinking you're charging $15 and shipping it for $4.95 w/o insurance. The $15 is a good price for the shipping considering how you are shipping it.

As for every one complaining about the amount for shipping, it's not that high if it comes in a medium flat rate box with insurance and you can track it and all.
Hon, DO NOT AND i SAY AGAIN DO NOT ship it in a small flat rate box no matter what any one says it is NOT the way to ship a hard drive. If you ship it that way it will most likely just end up being a paper weight. You were right to say medium flat rate with lots of stuffing.
I know my husband sooo wants this, so I will be watching and I don't mind pay the shipping of $15.00 for it.At least I know it will be shipped properly and If anything happens to it well then the post office has to rectify the problem.

I am just like the previous guy what is "High enough" for free shipping. You say we will see but that mean at any moment you could say shipping is free or you could say ok you got to pay even if you got like 1000 or even 10000 credits. Let us all know then you will most likely get alot more bids just for the fact they know you are willing to ship free at a certain amount.

Sorry Pauly702, I lowered the shipping charges, so wasn't really thinking about the free shipping. I'll say 2000 credits, free shipping. with all this negativity I should have just taken this thing to the Goodwill. Pauly702 thanks for answering spyda0507, I don't know about these computer things, that's why I never used the hard drive to begin with. I just wanted to get it off my desk. Cleaning house after my husband passed and after 2 yrs of mourning I figured it was about time to clean up and get rid of stuff. My husband had purchased this and never installed it and I didn't know how, so here it is.
