Description

The listing, 10KS VINTAGE PEARL NECKLACE has ended.

Please read Carefully before u bid.....This came from a 86 year old Jewelry Box..I dont have ANY Information about this piece..Bidders will have to do some research if they want info because the last thing i want to do is to mislead any Listian...Look at my feedback, i dont want a Neg..The clasp is Silver and marked 10K S on it...Which might mean its a white Gold ??..BUT i'm not sure..I do know that the Gold color thats between the beads are not Real Gold, its just a Gold Color String that the Necklace is made out of.....I Have No info if the Pearls are Real, but its a Very Nice Vintage Necklace.....The Chain is 17 1/2 inches long from one end to the other... Listia address only.....Happy Bidding..... Update...I just did alittle research on this necklace and when i asked the question...What does 10 K S Mean on a Necklace it stated ...10 k refers to the percent of gold in the necklace. 10k is equal to 41.67% gold. S more than likely is the jewelers stamp...

They do say that most pearls are really rough and some are not..These pearls seem to be only a tiny bit rough but mostly smooth, so again i have no clue if they are real or not...

actually only freshwater pearls are different sizes and shapes. A good quality strand of pearls are almost identical, almost. some are all the same size and shape, the really expensive ones.

Hi, If you gently scrape your tooth on the pearl and it feels sandy, then they are real. If the pearl doesn't feel like it has a gritty texture when you scrape your tooth on it then they are fake. That is the simplest way to know if they are real or not. I am watching and probably bidding but would really love to know if the pearls pass the tooth scraping test.
God Bless

they r alittle gritty but i still cant tell..They seem smoother then gritty...I know the clasp is real and thats what confuses me if the pearls are real or not but i would say they arent real because they are smooth and not so gritty

I went on that website and i'm still alittle confused lol..I have no clue... I did some of the tests from this website and my opinion is they are not real, but what confuses me is that the clasp is real..So why would they put a real clasp on and fake pearls?..
