I have had this for like forever..anyway I think it might take a battery or something because it almost feels like a wire cord and the clasp we cannot figure out if it comes apart or what . I think at one time it lit up the crystal but but still looks good as a crystal necklace. I do not know if it is glass or a acrylic either so basically what you see here is the necklace you get.
