from denmark many years ago. we have enjoyed the beautiful flowers throughout the years. plant in spring, summer or fall. they make a beautiful border and add a touch of style around a tall fence or against a wall. each plant will produce at least 20 blooms at the same time(continuously from late spring thru fall.) each bloom is approx 4 - 5 inches. very hardy plants, which come back year after year. easy to grow, maintenance free. if these are planted now or this fall, you will have blooms next spring. hollyhocks do not bloom the first year....so plant these soon and get a jump-start for next year! planting
