Description
The listing, Texas Instruments TI-83 Graphing Calculator has ended.
In PERFECT working condition. This calculator has been my best friend through long nights of calculus and statistics. I recently acquired a TI-84 Silver Edition so I fear that I must say goodbye to my faithful companion. It does not come with a manual, but you can find out any command online if you google it. This is an older model but it is still a $100 calculator!
Questions & Comments
my son is starting hi\h school he could really use this
It will definitely make his math classes easier and less time consuming. Whoever wins this auction feel free to email me if you have any questions about how to use the calculator. I don't know all of the functions but I can do any equation on it.
Posting pics in a second. If anything was wrong with it I would state it in my description. I may not have been on here for very long but I have sold at least 30 items with no complaints. I have probably been screwed over more than anyone on this site...................... but here are your pics.
I don't know. I try to look up similar auctions and see how much they go for. Considering it is in immaculate condition and it is a valuable tool, maybe around 6,000 or so. There is not ONE scratch on this calculator and I never wrote my name on it.
this message is to shannonandcrew: shannon, your son will not be needing this calculator until his junior year. this calculator is needed for calculus, stats, and some Analysis of function classes. any calculator will work for his grade. i used to use a cheap $12 calcultor and so did my best friends
That is true unless you are in the advanced placement program or if you are too lazy to work problems out in your head. It makes Algebra and Geometry much easier as well. I never had one in high school and when I finally got this one in college I realized what I was missing out on. It is not needed but I highly recommend it, especially considering it is technically free. I took honors pre-cal my sophomore year and calculus my junior year so that I could take the AP calc class and the end of the year AP test to opt out of taking it in college.
If the bid goes above 5000 I will ship express. Otherwise it will be Priority mail and I always print the shipping label as soon as I receive an address then ship the next morning. I am pretty quick about getting my items out because I have ADD and if I don't do it immediately I am afraid that I will forget or get side-tracked. ;)
