I'm not to familiar with the first gen iPad, is it the same dimensions? This has and adjustable top half that you pull and put the iPad in and release to secure it.

Im pretty positive that it will work with all iPads :-)

I think they are. I think the 2 nd one is a little thicker than the first. I really like this. Haven't seen one like this before. I use a Bluetooth keyboard with mine all the time and this will work perfect. Awesome auction !!
