The listing, "Moses in a Basket" SEED POD has ended.
This plant is called by several names....
Tradescantia bermudensis is one of those plants with a lot of names. Tradescantia spathacea variegata (or “tricolor”) refers to the same plant. It goes by Moses-in-the-Cradle, Moses-in-the-Bulrushes, Moses-in-the-Basket, Moses-in-the-Boat, Boat lily, Oyster Plant and Rheo, among other things. With plants like this, it is easy to see why the Latin names of plants are so important. It’s hard to keep these things straight!
It's a great non demanding plant that gets beautiful purple seed pods in the summer.
I keep mine outdoors in the spring, summer, and then to a sunny shelf during the winter.
I'll send ONE pod, dried, ready to open and transfer the seeds to little peat pots. (or start any way you have had the best results) The pod contains an "undetermined" amount of seeds. At least 10-15, I wanted to send it intact.
