THIS LITTLE FAN RUNS ON WATER, YES WATER. YOU FILL THE BOTTLE FULL OF WATER, PUT IT DOWN INSIDE OF THE FAN AND TURN IT ON. THATS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO. IT WORKS REALLY WELL TOO. YOU CAN CARRY IT ANYWHERE THERE IS WATER TO USE. I THINK IF YOU USED ICE WATER IT WOULD BE EVEN COOLER. BATTERY OPERATED.
