AnnieMae24 - I think the $10 data fee is for texting only - nothing else! I am under contract with Verizon with an antique flip phone and they told me I could put this phone on my contract and if I wanted text it is $10 a month more, but it is not a smart phone so I don't have to pay the extra $30 a month for the data plan which does not include texting.
