The listing, 30 Hollyhock Seeds has ended.
30+ organic Hollyhock seeds from my garden. These seeds are mostly red, maroon, pink and even some black colored hollyhocks. All the seeds are from the garden this growing season 2012.
Hollyhocks are tall, beautiful flowers that are easy to grow from seed and can help make any garden a special place.
Zones 3 through 9 are the areas where these flowers grow well. These flowers are considered biennials, but can be perennials if the flowers are dead headed at the end of their growing season.
Start growing the hollyhock seeds indoors to get a jump on the growing season. These flowers typically have a blooming season from July to September in most parts of the country. Plant the seeds about 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost. Hollyhocks usually don't bloom until their second year. By starting them early they may bloom the first year.
Fall planting is nice, too, but if you are looking for impact, spring planting one year before is the best way to go. Hollyhocks planted the previous season will have increased blooms the next season.
I also include free surprise bonus seeds with each winning bid.
