The first 5 pictures is what i got the second time around.
i sold a ring here not too long ago. that when i ordered it , it was suppose to look like the last 4 pictures. then i got it ..it was faint amethyst. so in the mean time the jeweler said they would send me a replacement. and i got the second ring as pictured on the first 5. but it's still not as pretty as the the one i was suppose to get. so bottom line, is i don't want this one either.
. it was described as purple amethyst 18k gold filled. this one is more color, of amethyst 18k gold filled this is the information that someone on another auction wrote about gold filled....btw gold filled is when the jeweler uses a base metal - cheap metal scrap metal then they take the good metal, in this case 14k gold, and coat it, "fill it". it is not the same as plated, plated is just a thin top coat, but filled is a sturdier option, it uses a thin sheet of gold that is smelted onto the base metal. electro plate is when the ring is put in a bath solution that chemically places the thinnest layer of gold possible on the ring that then wears off with minimal contact. filled is not as good as solid, but is still better than plated. it makes a thicker layer of gold that will not easily rub off. please look at pictures really good, you are getting the first 5 pictures, but not the last 4 pictures.
