Live Sweet Potato start with many roots. Plant indoors until last frost, then transplant outside or grow in container. Leaves and vines are edible raw or cooked like spinach. They taste nutty. Harvest sweet potatoes after first hard frost, which makes them sweet. Lay them out to dry without washing them for about 1 week to harden and sweeten. Store in cool, dark and dry place to eat during winter months.These came from my 2019 organic garden with no chemicals used during growth or rooting. If GIN is used I will send 2 starts.
