OK. This auction is for a gift card of your choice(depends on availibility of card/retailer)

It will work like this Starts off at $5.00
Every 1000 points it goes up $5.00 until it reaches the amount of $300.00
An example would be if the bidding ends at 8655 points, the card amount would be $5 for the start + $45 for the points rounded up for a total of $50.00

This auction is just to say thanks for all Listia members who have bid on my auctions since I have joined. So thank you.

I removed the bit in your description that mentions sending money by Paypal if unable to get the kinds of gift card the user wants. Gift cards are fine, but money by Paypal would be considered paying the winner.

There are many reasons on why one is allowed and one isn't. In short, a gift card is considered an item being transferred, not currency. It's something you buy within the store with it's own terms of use. Since it's restricted on how you can use the card, it doesn't have the free range that currency has. There are more reasons, but no need to hog your auction page with the boring stuff, lol. Good luck!
